1.1 No Attorney-Client Relationship
EZ Living Trust is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Use of our Platform does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and us, or with any third party.
1.2 Document Preparation / Assistance Only
We act solely as a legal document assistant and facilitator. We help you create, populate, and organize your own legal documents — such as Living Trusts, Wills, and Powers of Attorney — using the information and choices you provide. You are solely responsible for reviewing and using those documents and for seeking independent legal or professional advice when necessary.
1.3 No Guarantee
The legal documents provided are based on the same forms and software trusted by numerous attorneys and law firms nationwide. Please note, however, that we cannot guarantee their legal validity for your specific situation without professional legal advice, and encourage you to do so if you have questions about the legal effect or applicability. A sample legal document is available for your review on our website, or you can contact our office for access to a sample.
2.1 Independent Partners
EZ Living Trust maintains a program that allows licensed financial service professionals and other approved individuals (“Partners”) to refer Clients to our Platform through a referral link or Partner subdomain.
2.2 Role of Partners
Partners are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of EZ Living Trust. They do not own or operate the Website or the EZ Living Trust system.
2.3 What Partners May Do
Partners may assist Clients in setting up their accounts, navigating the questionnaire, or completing their document package. They may provide assistance at no cost or charge a separate document assistant fee disclosed directly to you. Each Partner sets their own fees, and any such arrangement is between you and the Partner.
2.4 Access to Your Portal
If you register through a Partner’s affiliate link or subdomain, the Partner may have limited access to view or assist you in completing your document portal. You can revoke or rescind their access at any time by updating your account settings or contacting us.
2.5 Data Ownership
All account records, documents, and data remain property of the EZ Living Trust platform. Partners do not retain or own Client data after access is rescinded or upon completion of service.
2.6 No Legal Advice by Partners
Partners are not attorneys and are not authorized to provide legal advice. Any information or suggestions they provide are for educational or administrative assistance only.
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Platform.
3.2 Registration
You agree to provide accurate and complete information during sign-up and to maintain it. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any actions taken under your account.
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for misuse, violation of these Terms, or other reasons at our discretion.
4.1 Permitted Use
You may use the Platform solely for your own estate planning and document preparation. You may not use it to prepare documents for others commercially unless authorized.

The Platform may charge a flat or variable fee for document preparation services. Pricing will be displayed before payment.
5.2 Payments
By submitting payment, you authorize us (or our processors) to charge your provided payment method for the applicable fees.
5.3 Refund Policy
Refunds are handled per our posted Refund Policy. Generally, refunds are not provided once your documents are generated, except under special circumstances at our discretion.
All content, software, templates, and materials on the Platform are owned by EZ Living Trust or its licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. You may download and use generated documents for your personal use only. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our materials without prior written permission.
The Platform and documents are provided “as is” and “as available.” EZ Living Trust makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee any legal, financial, or personal outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EZ Living Trust, Strategic Choices Financial, Inc., and their officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or documents. Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by you to EZ Living Trust during the prior twelve (12) months.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EZ Living Trust, Strategic Choices Financial, Inc., its affiliates, officers, employees, and Partners from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or your reliance on documents generated through the Service.
10.1 Agreement to Arbitrate
You and EZ Living Trust agree to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform exclusively through binding arbitration, rather than in court.
10.2 Arbitration Rules
Arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Los Angeles County, California, unless both parties agree otherwise.
10.3 Waiver of Jury Trial
By agreeing to arbitration, both parties waive their right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.
10.4 Small Claims Exception
Either party may bring qualifying individual claims in small claims court rather than arbitration.
10.5 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
12.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and EZ Living Trust.
12.2 Severability
If any part of these Terms is held invalid, the remainder will continue in full effect.
12.3 Waiver
No waiver of a right or term shall be deemed ongoing or enforceable against future breaches.
12.4 Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign or transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale.
12.5 Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, system failures, or acts of government.
